The Ionian Sea is home to some of Greece’s most breathtaking islands Zakynthos (Zante), Corfu, Kefalonia, Lefkada, Ithaca, Paxoi, and Kythira. Known for turquoise waters, lush green landscapes and dramatic coastlines, this region is a paradise for travelers seeking both relaxation and exploration.

Our Zante operates primarily with the traditional wooden gulet M/S Aphrodite, accommodating up to 25 guests in 9 comfortable cabins. Depending on availability and seasonal demand, sister vessels such as M/S Harmonia or M/S Eros may also operate the same itinerary.

Throughout the week, you’ll sail to some of the Ionian’s most iconic destinations Kefalonia, Ithaca, Atokos, Meganisi and Lefkada with the perfect balance of cultural exploration, swimming stops, charming Greek villages and authentic Mediterranean cuisine.

Each cabin features comfortable mattresses, reading lights, wardrobes, A/C (limited use), hairdryers, and private bathrooms with enclosed showers. Our warm and professional local crew, together with our onboard Chef, will ensure an unforgettable week at sea with daily breakfast and lunch prepared fresh from local ingredients.

1. Days: Zante
Welcome to the sun soaked island of Zante, the perfect starting point for your week of Ionian island hopping.
Check-in begins after 17:00, so if you arrive early, you’ve got plenty of time to explore the waterfront lined with cafés, gelato shops and seafood tavernas serving ultra fresh Greek dishes.
Wander through Zante Town, check out the Byzantine Museum, or grab a cold drink by the marina and watch the yachts drift by. If you’re feeling adventurous, make a quick visit to the National Marine Park or the famous Laganas Bay before boarding.
In the evening, meet your crew and new travel buddies over our laid back Welcome Dinner. First night vibes? Sunsets, beautiful Mediterranean and that “yes, this is going to be spectacular” feeling.
2. Days: Agia Efimia (Kefalonia)
This morning we sail toward the picture perfect harbor village of Agia Efimia on Kefalonia. Expect crystal clear water, postcard worthy streets, friendly locals, and some of the most charming tavernas in the Ionian 
You’ll have the whole afternoon to explore:
Grab pastries from the traditional wood fired bakery
Wander around the tiny boutiques
Chill at a seafront bar with an iced coffee or cold beer
As the sun sets behind Kefalonia’s rugged mountains, pick a waterfront taverna for dinner and enjoy a proper Greek feast with your crew. This is the Ionian lifestyle at its best.
3. Days: Fiskardo (Kefalonia)
Today is all about swim stops, sea caves, and turquoise bays the kind of scenery that makes the Ionian Islands cruise famous. We’ll drop anchor in remote coves perfect for snorkeling, sunbathing and those “jump off the boat” moments you’ll remember forever.
After lunch onboard, we continue to Fiskardo, Kefalonia’s most iconic village. Think colorful Venetian houses, bougainvillea everywhere, boutique shops, and a lively harbor packed with yachts.
Explore highlights like:
Antisamos Beach (pebble perfection)
Harami Beach (soft sand + warm, shallow waters)
Evening energy in Fiskardo is amazing bars, waterfront restaurants and a warm, stylish crowd. Perfect night to dress up a little and enjoy Greek island nightlife.
4. Days: Nidri (Lefkada)
We cruise north toward Lefkada, arriving at the vibrant port of Nidri, one of the island’s most popular marina towns. Nidri’s lively streets are lined with local treats, creative handmade pieces, natural scented goods, herbs and unique island finds, giving the whole town a vibrant open market feel.
If you love photos, you’ll fall in love with Lefkada’s scenery: bright blue water, lush forests, green mountains, and boats gliding across the channel between Kefalonia and Meganisi.
Spend your afternoon exploring the shops, grabbing iced coffees or gyros, or simply relaxing by the water. Nidri has an easygoing vibe that young travelers love.
5. Days: Meganisi
Get ready for one of the Ionian’s best kept secrets: Meganisi.
With white pebble beaches, glowing blue coves and forests dropping straight into the sea, this island feels untouched.
You’ll have time to:
Rent a bike or scooter and explore
Lounge at a seaside café watching local fishermen
Enjoy insanely good seafood at traditional tavernas
Meganisi’s pace is slow, relaxing and totally addictive. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time in the best possible way.
6. Days: Ithaca (with Atokos stop)
Today we sail toward legendary Ithaca, the mythical home of Odysseus. But before we get there, we make a weather dependent stop at Atokos, a stunning private island with electric-blue water and wild pigs wandering freely on land. It’s one of the most unique swim stops of the entire Ionian cruise.
After lunch onboard, we continue to Ithaca and seek out one of its peaceful bays for a quiet anchorage under the stars.
This is a pure Greek island moment: calm sea, warm night breeze, and the Milky Way lighting up the sky.
7. Days: Zante
Before heading back to Zante, we enjoy one last refreshing swim stop in a secluded Ionian bay your final chance for underwater shots, cliff jumps or floating in turquoise perfection.
We sail toward Zante while lunch is served onboard, ending the week with one more scenic cruise along the island’s spectacular coastline.
In the evening, we dock in Zante Old Town for the Captain’s Dinner, the perfect final celebration of your Greek sailing adventure.
8. Days: Zante
After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to new friends and the crew.
Disembarkation is usually by 09:00.
