This well planned mini cruise offers a mix of relaxed sailing, beautiful swimming spots, historic ports, and traditional Turkish hospitality on a classic wooden yacht.
Starting from the busy marina in Marmaris, the boat travels west along the stunning Carian Coast, visiting quiet bays, clear waters, and small fishing villages before arriving in the lively town of Bodrum.
Whether you want a short sailing holiday, a relaxing addition to your travels, or just a taste of the gulet experience, this trip is a great way to discover the beauty of the Turkish coast.
Guests are welcome to meet the crew and board the gulet at the harbor at 11:00 a.m. Following a brief welcome and safety meeting with the captain, we will depart Marmaris and begin our journey along the Turkish Riviera.
Our first stop is Kadırga Bay, where you can enjoy a swim in the clear waters or relax on deck. Later in the afternoon, we will continue sailing toward Bozukkale, a scenic bay known for its quiet atmosphere and coastal views.
The gulet will anchor here for the evening, allowing you to settle in and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner on board as the sun sets over the Aegean.
Start the day in the clear waters of Palamutbükü, a spot known for its calm atmosphere and excellent visibility. You can enjoy a morning swim or relax on deck as we sail along the scenic Datça Peninsula.
Later, the gulet travels toward the ancient city of Knidos, one of the most significant archaeological sites on the Aegean coast. You will have time to explore the historic ruins, including the ancient temples and theaters located on this unique headland where two seas meet.
In the late afternoon, we arrive near Datça Old Town, famous for its stone houses and relaxed harbor. You can walk through the narrow streets, visit local shops, or enjoy a drink by the waterfront before returning to the boat for a quiet night at anchor.
Begin the day with an early sail to Black Island, located just outside Bodrum and known for its volcanic scenery and clear blue waters. After breakfast, there is time for a final swim to enjoy the calm of the Aegean before the journey continues.
After lunch, the gulet travels around the headland to enter the famous twin harbors of Bodrum. This iconic sailing destination is home to the historic Bodrum Castle and the town’s traditional whitewashed streets.
You can spend the afternoon exploring the lively atmosphere of Bodrum, dining by the sea, or walking through the old town. As evening falls, enjoy the final night of your cruise in a city well known for its rich sailing culture and vibrant harbor.
After breakfast, you will say goodbye to the crew and fellow travelers before checking out around 09:00 a.m. From here, you can choose to spend more time exploring the streets of Bodrum, head to Bodrum Milas Airport for your flight, or extend your stay in town, marking the end of your Sail Turkey journey.
