What Is the Food Like on Turkey Sail Tours?

Meals on Board

Great food is a big part of life at sea on our Turkey sailing trips. Each day, our chef turns market-fresh produce into Turkish dishes that keep you going—whether you’re swimming off the stern, rambling ashore, or stretching out on deck in the sun. Guests often tell us the variety from our compact galley is a highlight of sailing in Turkey

—and we take that as the highest compliment.

Mornings kick off with a proper Turkish breakfast: a line-up of several cheeses, crisp tomatoes and cucumbers, olives, eggs cooked to your liking (boiled, fried, or omelette), local sausages, house jams and honey, a chocolate-hazelnut spread, baskets of fresh bread, plus endless Turkish tea and filter coffee.Lunch stays light and colourful so you can jump straight back into the water—think vibrant vegetarian plates, a carb like pilav or pasta, and plenty of salad. We pause again for afternoon tea and coffee with snacks because, well, sea air makes you hungry.Dinner is the big finish. After an active day on your Turkey sail itinerary, everyone gathers around the table for charcoal-grilled BBQ, a line-up of mezes (dips), salads, and often the catch of the day. We round things off with a classic Turkish dessert or a platter of seasonal fruit.

Dietary Needs & Allergies

Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, nut-free—we’ve got you. Tell us your requirements when you book a Turkey sailing trip and our chef will plan accordingly. Turkish cuisine is wonderfully diverse, so there’s always something tasty for every guest.

Celebrations On Board

Got a birthday during your cruise? Let us know on the booking form and we’ll bake a proper cake and add a little fanfare—because milestones at anchor feel extra special when you’re sailing in Turkey.
